These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of UpRoom (the "Website" and "Services"), operated by EL4 TECH LTD, a company incorporated in England and Wales (Company No. 15517465), with registered office at 124 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom ("Company", "we", "us", "our").
Our full Terms of Use are being finalised. In the meantime, by using UpRoom you agree to the principles below and to our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which together form the entire agreement between you and us.
1. Use of the Website
UpRoom is currently a research preview. You may use it for personal, non-commercial purposes to explore furniture concepts for a property. You must not misuse the Website, attempt to access it by means other than the interface we provide, or interfere with its operation or security.
2. Research preview disclaimer
Screens, prices, furniture suggestions and shopping flows shown on UpRoom are illustrative only. The product is not yet commercially available. UpRoom is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or officially connected to IKEA, Argos, Dunelm, Habitat, John Lewis, Rightmove, Octopus, Sky or any other mentioned brand. All brand names belong to their respective owners and are used for descriptive purposes only.
3. Intellectual property
All content on UpRoom — including text, design, graphics, logos and code — is owned by or licensed to EL4 TECH LTD and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute or create derivative works without our prior written consent.
4. User content
When you submit data to UpRoom (such as a property link or your preferences), you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use that data to provide and improve the Services, subject to our Privacy Policy.
5. Third-party links
UpRoom may link to third-party websites or services (e.g. retailers). We are not responsible for their content, products, availability or practices. Your interaction with those services is governed by their own terms.
6. Disclaimers and liability
UpRoom is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties, conditions and representations. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the Website. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.
7. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
